WHEN DOES CHANUKAH START?

On Thursday, December 7, 2023 the First Night of Chanukah takes place.
Light 1 candle on that first night after nightfall
Light an additional candle (2 on the second night etc) each night after nightfall for all eight nights of Chanukah.
The Dates of Chanukah 2023 are Thursday, December 7, 2023 until Friday, December 15, 2023 lighting the last candle, the 8th light, on December 14th, 2023.
